> Road, rail and river transport converge on the Port of Dunkirk.

- Dunkirk is situated just an hour from the English Channel, the world's busiest seaway.
- Direct free access from the port terminals to the Nord-Pas de Calais, Belgium and the whole European motorway network.
- All quays are connected to the rail network. The port benefits from direct rail links to Eastern France and Europe through the North-Eastern rail artery.
- The wide-gauge canal links the port to the Nord-Pas de Calais region (3,600 tonnes), the European inland waterways (1,350 tonnes) and to the Paris Basin (800 tonnes).

Dunkirk has scheduled calls to the world's major economic zones, complemented by reliable feeder services to Rotterdam, Felixstowe and Le Havre.
